Week 8

Week 8 was amazing. Several close games. The Bus Drivers came from behind against the heavily favored The Butchers to snag a win. And the most amazing thing to happen: Dead Rabbits see an end to the dream of a perfect season in a trap game. Sweetpea's Minions managed to defeat Dead Rabbits this week and improve to 3-5. Wolfens held off Da Ditkas and Argonauts fell to Fighting Marmots who were in Paragon beatdown mode. It was a slaughter as Fighting Marmots scored 167.89 points. This replaces the original highest score of 163.00 recorded by Dead Rabbits. You will see a listing of records after the regular season posted on League-o-sphere (And just to ask: How did Raiders beat Pittsburgh? No, really.)
Shameful loss, no one should lose to the Raiders.
Now, on to the scores of the week:
GridIrony: 120.80
Skoal Bandits: 106.59

Fighting Marmots: 167.89
*****Five star beatdown*****
Argonauts: 96.72

Wolfens: 128.43
Da Ditkas: 116.06

SweetPea's Minions: 90.73
Dead Rabbits: 86.19

The Bus Drivers: 94.42
The Butchers: 91.71

Now lets look at the best players for week 8:
QB: Peyton Manning 26.85-GridIrony

WR: Reggie Wayne 36.90-Wolfens. (!)

RB: Larry Johnson 35.05-Fighting Marmots (!)

TE: Colston 26.15-Wolfens

K: Gould 12.00-Skoal Bandits

D: Shawne Merriman 21.75-Dead Rabbits *(Note: The highest scoring Defensive player this week is Merriman. Dead Rabbits had Merriman benched due to his drug suspension. But Merriman, as you can see, played. He played very hard.)
*

Also the Panthers did so badly that John Fox apologized to all Panther fans that purchased tickets and came to the Dallas beats the daylights out of The Panthers game...I mean Dallas versus Panthers. It was a home game and Panthers played a horrific 4th quarter.

Tony Romo got his first start as Dallas QB and ended it with the smackdown of Carolina Panthers. Drew Bledsoe is now the back-up and isn't happy with it either. His NFL career might just be over.
Greenbay Packers win 2 in a row...
Colts and Bears stay perfect. The Broncos Vs. Colts, to me, was one of the best games I have seen in a long time. Colts: 34
Broncos: 31
End Week 8
